Say Freeze!

Last Saturday, there was a Fashion Freeze at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the 5pm slot saw models ‘freezing’ in the latest collection from Quiksilver & Roxy.

The models would pose in different combinations every 5 minutes or so and those around can freely pose and take a picture with them as well.

“I’m amazed at how they can pull it off as these models looked like the mannequins you see in window displays,” said Jonathan, a shopper.

Free photographs were also being given out by the Pavilion Management where one can stand a chance to win a camera if you have your photo taken and processed by them.

“I remember KL freeze some months back and I think this idea of freezing models right in the middle of the mall is a cool idea to showcase the latest fashion in the market,”said Nor Anis, a regular shopper at the Bukit Bintang area.

After about 40 minutes worth of freeze time, we managed to catch up and talk to two of the models that were part of the Fashion Freeze for a bit.

Get Mugged!

If you have not noticed, we have recently made available collectible mugs that can be purchased from all our stores. Caught up with the hype of it, we managed to speak to two individuals just last weekend and here’s what they have to say about it :

1. How often do you buy mugs?
This is my first time buying the mugs. They are lovely!

2. Do you think mugs are necessary and why did you buy the Quiksilver mug?
Oh yes! I buy the mugs because they are big enough to save me trips to the water dispenser. One mug equals to one trip saved compared to normal cup. Haha.

3. How much do you like your Quiksilver mug?
No words can describe. 😀

4. What have you been using it for lately?
See, I used it once to drink in my office and will give it away to my brother later on as a gift for moving into his new home.

5. Would you recommend people to collect them as in comes in 4 different designs?
Quick! I heard stock is running out. They are limited edition!

1. How often do you buy mugs?
At least one for every year. Haha, because they come in such creative designs these days. So they make perfect gifts, plus, my sister is a mug-addict.

2. Do you think mugs are necessary and why did you buy the Roxy mug?
Of course they are! But I didn’t purchase this mug – a close friend bought it for me unexpectedly. 🙂

3. How much do you like your Roxy mug?
On a scale of  1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, I’ll make it an 11!

4. What have you been using it for lately?
I’m planning to bring it into my office soon so that I can have my dose of Java with it every morning to kick-start the day.

5. Would you recommend people to collect them as in comes in 4 different designs?
Collections are good. Keep ’em for properly for the next 25 years and you’re probably holding an antique by then. So, yes!
